Connect Paymob to Your StorkPlus Store and Accept Online Payments

Paymob is one of the best-known payment gateways in Egypt. On StorkPlus you can connect it and accept online payments from your storefront and from WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram, alongside cash on delivery. You need 5 values from Paymob and one URL to paste back there.

Setup: Configuration → Payment methods → Create → Paymob.
You need: API key, HMAC secret, merchant ID, iframe ID and integration ID.
Name the payment method in Arabic and English, as the customer will see it.
Set the callback URL in Paymob so orders are confirmed as paid.

What you need to connect Paymob

From your Paymob dashboard, collect:

API key: the key to your account.
HMAC secret: lets the store verify a payment message really comes from Paymob.
Merchant ID: your merchant account number.
Iframe ID: the payment page where the customer enters card details.
Integration ID: the payment integration (for example, cards) in your account.

Step 1: Create a Paymob payment method

In your store admin open Configuration → Payment methods, click Create and choose Paymob.

Step 2: Enter the values

Paste the five values into API key, HMAC secret, Merchant ID, Iframe ID and Integration ID. Watch out for extra spaces when pasting.

Step 3: Arabic and English names

Write the method name in Arabic (for example, ادفع بالكارت) and English (Pay by card). Customers see the one that matches the store language at checkout.

Step 4: The callback URL in Paymob

In Paymob, edit your payment integration and paste this URL into both Transaction processed callback and Transaction response callback:

https://your-store.storkplus.com/payment-methods/paymob

With it, the order is marked as paid on its own after the customer pays.

Step 5: Place a test order

Enable the method on your sales channel, place a test order and pay. If the order shows as paid in the admin, you are done.

Common Paymob setup mistakes

The wrong integration ID: each Paymob payment method has its own; use the one you want to offer.
A missing callback URL: the customer pays and the order stays unpaid in your admin.
Mixing test and live values: all five values must come from the same environment.
A trailing space in a key: it breaks the connection with no clear error.

Once it works, your customers on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram can finish the order and pay by card.
