Messenger AI Sales Bot: Connect Your Facebook Page in Minutes

Step 1: Connect Facebook

In your store admin open Bots → Messenger and click Connect Facebook. Log in and allow access to the pages you want to connect.

Step 2: Choose your page and connect it

Your pages appear. Pick the one the bot should answer and click Connect.

Page missing? Reconnect Facebook, choose Edit access in the Facebook window and tick your page.

Step 3: Persistent menu

The Persistent Menu tab has the Get Started text and the buttons List Products, My Cart, Empty Cart and Checkout. Edit the labels and click Update Persistent Menu. A preview shows the chat before you save.

Step 4: Instructions for the AI agent

In the AI Assistant tab (Growth plan) write the custom AI prompt and choose the sales channel. Example instructions:

Greet the customer by name in simple Egyptian Arabic.
When asked about size, ask for height and weight and suggest one.
Mention that cash on delivery is available.

After launch

Everyone who talks to the bot appears under Bot users (Growth plan), with the conversation and orders.
On Growth, customers also get Messenger updates when the order is placed and when it ships.

Why start with Messenger?

Messenger is the easiest start: it is on the free plan and only needs a Facebook Page. As your store grows, add the Instagram agent on Growth and the WhatsApp agent on Galaxy, all selling from the same catalog.

Common mistakes

Connecting the wrong page: pick your store page, not a personal one.
Removing the app in Facebook: if you remove the StorkPlus app from your Facebook business integrations, the bot stops until you reconnect.
An unedited menu: rewrite the button labels in your customers’ words.
