Connect XPay to Your Store: Cards, Fawry and ValU on StorkPlus

XPay gives you cards, Fawry and ValU through one connection. On StorkPlus you add it as a payment method and get paid from your storefront and from WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram. Setup is four fields and one webhook URL.

In short

Setup: Configuration → Payment methods → Create → XPay (cards, Fawry, ValU).
You need the secret key (sk_test or sk_live) and the webhook signing secret (whsec).
Choose the checkout language: same as the order, Arabic or English.
The payment method configuration ID is optional and controls which methods appear.
Payments are confirmed by the webhook, so you must add it.

Step 1: Create an XPay payment method

In your store admin open Configuration → Payment methods, click Create and choose XPay (cards, Fawry, ValU). Add the name customers will see, in Arabic and English.

Step 2: Secret API key

In the XPay dashboard open Developers → API keys. Use an sk_test_ key while testing, then switch to sk_live_ once your account is approved.

Step 3: Webhook URL and signing secret

The StorkPlus setup page shows a webhook URL that is fixed for your store. You can add it before saving.
In XPay open Developers → Webhooks → Add endpoint, paste the URL and subscribe to the events the page lists.
XPay shows a whsec_ secret once. Copy it into Webhook signing secret.

Important: payments are confirmed by the webhook. Without it, orders stay unpaid. Test and live endpoints have different secrets.

Step 4: Checkout page language

Checkout page language has three options: same as the order (Arabic or English, per customer), always Arabic, or always English.

Step 5: Which methods appear (optional)

To show only cards, or to add Fawry and ValU, enter a Payment method configuration ID. You find it in XPay under Settings → Payment methods. Leave it empty to use your account default.

A note on Fawry

Fawry is not instant: the customer gets a code and pays later. The order is marked as paid when XPay sends the confirmation to the webhook.

Before you switch XPay on for customers

Place a test order with a test card and check it shows as paid.
Try Fawry and check the order waits for the confirmation.
Swap the key and the webhook secret to live values at the same time.
Enable the method on the sales channel you sell from, whether the storefront or WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram.
